According to the PTI news agency, Madhuri Marathe, the secretary of the national organization said, "A campaign called Garbh Sanskar has been started for pregnant women so that the child is taught morals while in the womb."

According to him, a workshop was organized at Jawahar Lal University in capital Delhi, where 80 gynecologists from 12 states also participated.

Madhuri Marathe said, "This program will run until the pregnant mother and child reach the age of two years.

A growing baby in the womb can learn up to 500 words.

But can a baby growing in the womb really understand any words or language?

The world of science is divided on this issue.

Mumbai-based feminist activist and gynecologist Dr. Suchitra Delvi says that the unborn child can hear sounds but cannot understand any language.

He says, "As the child's body grows in the womb, his ears also grow.

In that case, sound waves also reach him.

But the child does not understand the meaning of those sounds. In such a situation, even if the mother reads anything, how will the child understand?

Different opinions

He believes that this is just an assumption and has no scientific basis.

Dr. Suchitra Delvi says that instead of thinking about such things, we should think about the children who came into the world but are deprived of basic things like food, education. There must be a discussion to give children good citizenship and good culture.

On the other hand, Dr. SN Basu says that research shows that the creature in the womb can dream and also feel.

Referring to the Fetal Psychology article published on the American website 'Psychology Today', he says, "It is clearly written that until the ninth week of pregnancy, she can hear noises or loud voices, and in the 13th week, she can hear well. Meanwhile , he also distinguished between the mother's voice and an unknown person.

He says, "It has also been said in this study that if the fetus growing inside the womb is told a story repeatedly, then it also reacts to it."

He added further, "It is also written in this study that along with the ability to feel, see and hear of the creature in the womb, the ability to learn and remember also grows."

Just like a fetus is first startled by noise but then stops responding in time.

He says, "The child grows in the womb. This time if the mother does good things, then it affects the child as well.

Hormones and effects on the child

Doctor Suchitra Delvi says, "If a pregnant woman has problems with the hormones produced in the body at this time it affects the pregnancy as well".

Dr. Suchitra Delvi explains, "The hormonal effect that occurs at that time reaches the child through the mother. It means stress and happiness hormones also affect the child in the womb and this has a scientific basis.

Mukta Dabholkar, an activist, agrees with the mother's issue of ensuring she eats nutritious food, having positive thoughts and keeping the mind in a calm state for a pregnant woman.

He says, "When a child grows in the womb he cannot understand language, how will he know that the mother is reading the holy book".

According to him, "It is important for a mother to be happy and it should be the responsibility of the family to make sure she is happy".

Spreading ideology
Research has been started at the Banaras Hindu University in Uttar Pradesh where it is confirmed what are the effects of noise and music on a child in the womb.

Dr. Sunita Suman, Department of Obstetrics and Colnecology, Faculty of Ayurveda, BHU, says, "This research called 'Garbh Sanskar therapy' has just started. It will take time to get more information. The aim of this is also that if the mother is going through stress, the research is going on. follow up on the effects of this type of treatment on him.

Some political analysts believe that this is an attempt to spread ideology.

Commentator Rajesh Sinha says that such things are put up to evoke Hindu stereotypes, which have no logical basis.

People in India are really superstitious where they have special beliefs.

Such things increase the political and cultural base.
